RE XXX vs Adire Brahma

Does anyone have any thoughtful opinions on this or experience? Now that we learn that the Resonant Engineering XXX series subs has XBL^2 motor technology in it, it may cause us to rethink what subs are cool.

Hell, if the RE XXX 12 or 15 can keep as much SQ as Brahma 12 or 15 and put out as much or more SPL, why not go for the RE XXX?

Although I have no heard one, I would say that if what Resonant Engineering says is true, then the XXX would be a better choice. I am trying to get a XXX 15 as we speak to put in my 4Runner.

I'd be interested in seeing the XXX go head to head with a Brahma myself. The only thing is that RE doesn't put the power handling or T/S parameters on the website for some reason. Probably has something to do with them claiming to have the longest x-max or something.

Surprisingly, you are not the first person that has brought this to my attention, I have another 12" owner that wants to step up to a 15" after hearing his brother-in-laws 15 in his car...

I saw the Brahma about two months ago and fell in love but this resonant XXX sounds pretty good....What is the site so I can check it out my self and where is a site that I can buy them from...

Well guys I said I would retunr to tell what I thought and well the resonant subs looks great but what caught my eye was the resonant amp for only $269 Are these good amps...The specs seems really good buy maybe someone out there can tell a story or two...Until i hear the Brahma and the XXX subs to compare i still like the Braham better...

The lack of available info on the XXX line would currently state that they need a little time to get the driver exposed before any opinions are formed...

We have one coming for Momentum... put it that way... it deserves a look....

hey jlaine, maybe you'll know....Why are they waiting to give the specs on the XXX sub? I just don't see why the company would keep the specs secret..

that was in the previous post about this. that rating was at 14.4 volts, rather than the regular 12. so it's not really as good as they say...if i understood everything correctly
