    Icon32 12" Sub option

Ello everyone, i'm new to the forum, from the UK!
I'm wanting a 12" sub with main focus on spl but would also like some sq, i was looking at either the kicker L7, or the R.E. SE. I would prefer to use a sealed box but could build a ported if it would make a big increase in sound performance. Would either of the subs be a good choise for me? Do many people here run either of these subs? Or if not could anybody reccomend anything else for around that price range (things are alot more expensive over here than in the US)?
    Many thanks.
P.S the sub will have 1000w rms available to it @1 ohm or 600wrms @4hom

L7 is more in the class of the SX.

IMO, pick up an SX and port it with around 1kw.

Can you get these woofers over the pond?

Get the kicker L7 if you want mainly SPL.. the SE will sound much better, but it will not be as loud.

    Re: 12" Sub option

Thanks for the help, the SX is abit out of my price range, its aroung £300 pounds (which with the current exchange rate would work out at nearly $600 for you guys), whereas i can get an L7 for £200
