Im too lazy to look up power specs, can ya tell us? It really shouldnt bottom out at 40hz unless there is something really wrong.

    Re: sub hitting Bottom

i gess it could very well be a tuning problem or the box is not tuned right.

okay... and your subs are what rms rating and impedance? Im trying to find out if you are 'overpowering' them or not here. lol

Simply put, if the subs are bottoming out, either the box is too big for the power being fed to the subs, or the power is too much for the box size, however you want to look at it. This is assuming there is no issue like bad gain settings (will drastically increase power output from amps) or a leak in the enclosure (will make it seem bigger to subs obviously).

the specs. for the sub is 5000 watts but i think thats a peak value, not shur the rms value. i think its 2000 rms

Sounds like something wrong with the box design/construction.

    Re: sub hitting Bottom

holding a real 2000 watts RMS would be a feat... im doubting that, personally.

as for your box not being tuned right. it is sealed, there is no tuning.

with those two amps i can say with some degree of certainty that you have too much power for your subs. what is the impedence of your coils, and how many per sub?

right off the top of my head i would tell you to omit one amp, and see if that solved any issues.

    Re: sub hitting Bottom

Both subs are at 2 ohms one sub per amp. So each sub can get max 2400 watts. I am thinking of getting 4 12" subs probably a different brand, so that I can have 2 subs per amp.
