    big trunk space what do i need to fill it up

    ok i own a mint conditon 1969 f-dr impala i went and got a case of great stuff and 2 cases of 3M sound deading rubber spray and filled all the gaps and little spaces in the trunk and trunk lid and then sprayed 5 cans of the 3 m and then used the rst in the interor floor and fire wall and behind the backs seats and basicly any thing i could get
    i just noow need to get some subs for my huge trunk i was thinking 4 15'' digital audio subs 800 watts r.m.s subs with two 1600 watt 4 channel amps and bridge them and have 2 1.0 fraud caps with 0 gage wire would that bee good?? i need some segestions

    Two 15" Adire Audio Brahma's, with two JBL1200.1 amps. The Brahma's are 1600w rms. The caps will actually put more strain on your alternator than it already has, so I would go with a new alternator 120-140 amperes or so, then get the caps. That's, of course, if you haven't already put a big alternator in that bad boy.

    my friend has a '66 impala, and we are going to throw a system in it after it gets painted. we hooked up my sub from my home reciever, and the 'pala rattled like a snake. if you used that "spray-on sound deadener" in the trunk, would it decrease the value of the car?

    I'd pay more for a car that was sound deadened. It helps with everyday driving rattles too, not just stereo. Just don't make it look like crap.
