Project Powerful 10" Sub To hit 140's-Need Your Help

I need Your Help on Which Sub that will Hit with the right box and Amp 140+. Im just doing a project to see if i can do it. What 10" sub(cant be a newer one)should i test. Also tell me what size box and how much power. I might compete with some locals just to make them mad that a 10" can woop there systems ***.

I seen a 300w rms eclipse 10" hit 143.9 db's in a 2 cu ft ported box and the sub inverted.He was using 425w rms for power.

The Brahma's are new, so I guess that's out. How about a Juggy or a Stroker. I also saw a guy who had an L7 pushing into the 148's. His goal was to hit 150. His box was huge. No telling if the measurements were at a comp or his own though, so take it for what its worth I guess, lol.

BeyondAudio no doubt.....but its gonna cost you - I cant quote the precise measurements but I have heard of people getting stoopid numbers with 10s - around the 150dB mark isnt uncommon.......also look at IDmax, brahma, an overpowered DD, like a 9510 with loads of power & a stoopid box, Eclipse alums - dont bother with the Ti's, not that much difference. Also see Reasonant Engineering. Hope that assits in some way.

he consistantly pulls 143's and 144's wiht his 10" RE SExxx and 1400-1500watts


and the SExxx isnt a newer sub, could pnly find it used .... u need to give RE another chance
