Why the Vega?
Because I've had 2 10 hed's and was VERY happy with the spl and sound quailty of them.Originally Posted by Expy2000
I have some. Specs are 1 cu ft sealed and 2.6 su ft ported I will have to get you the tuning when I get home. Give me an hour.
EDIT: OK 2.6 cu ft tuned to 33hz

sound preference is up to the listner/owner. you have to decide what you like.---my advice go to a local audio shop and listen to sealed vs. ported if they have demo models then make up your own mind as to what you like. there is no shortage of ppl who can make suggestions but ultimately it's up to YOU.

I had them first n a sealed box sounded good. great if you like more rock music. They really shined in a ported box I had a 5 cu ft @30hz and loved the sound. As far as a bandpass, I dont really like them. In the small experience that I have with them they seem to only play in a narrow range of bass. I would go proted if you have the room.
you don't necessarily have to listen to cerwin vegas--the stores around here have the same speaker in different types of enclosures to show consumers the difference in sound.Originally Posted by RynoThePirate
