    se vs. sx

    whats the difference beetween these two woofers? im either doing 1 15" se or one 12" sx, and am wondering what the difference will be.

    also which one do you think will be louder with 800watts?

    Re: se vs. sx

    sx = spl
    se = sq

    Not saying that one does not have the other, we all know RE's have great SQ.

    SX will hit harder, imo.

    Re: se vs. sx

    I'm assuming you meant a 12" SX. The 15" will get louder with 800 watts. As for the differences, too many to name, just go to www.reaudio.com and compare the specs for each sub.

    1989 GMC Sierra ext. cab:

    Sony F-5000 cd player
    (2) Infinity KAPPA 4x6 plates
    Sony GTX-4600 amp
    (2) SonicFX D15s in a 7 cube box, tuned to 35hz
    Hifonics Brutus 1500

    One of my subs is inverted; it adds 10 DBs!

    oops, yeah i meant the 12" sx. basically what im asking is will the 12" sx hit harder than the 15" se assuming both of them are getting 800watts.

    also, hows the sq on the sx?

    800w is more than enough for an SX

    Re: se vs. sx

    the differrence between the 12 and the 15 isn't that much. it's difficult to compare a 12 to a 15, but the SX15 will walk on a SE15...especially on the meter
