How long for an RE price quote?

I have sent 3 emails to RE about the 10 and 12" XXX but still haven't gotten a response.

Is this typical for them?

Right now I am figuring I will wait and see who gets back to me first, RE or Adire, then I will just buy their sub.

If it's busy, call back.

They get a ton of e-mails every day asking for price quotes, advice, tracking numbers, etc - plus they have to sort through a lot of ****.

If you want a quick answer, just call them.

even if they were the best subs on earth i wouldn't buy them...



emailed soundsplinter same day, got response same day..the rest is history...


if all they want is phone calls, take the email link off the site. otherwise, answer the **** things...

just call. i just ordered my RE comps. got through first call after expecting to be callin all day after reading up on all the "re wont answer" threads. got a dude on the 5th ring. good guys seems like.

anytime i have ever called re about a price quote or advice i have always gotten through on the first time. i always got the same guy but he seems like a really nice fella. very helpful imo.

Any time I want/expect a fast reply, I call, never email, no matter who the company is. I read that RE gets several hundred emails a day.
