I accidentally ripped the Foamish part that is around the ring of the sub. Will it still work?

One time i put a screw driver through the suround of my sub I used crazy glue to keep it from spreading then I blew the sub up and got another fresh one hehe warranty is a great thing.

It'll be okay as long as you didn't seperate the surround from the basket, the foam is mostly there for protection.
