Icon32 Does this setup sound good??

Hey i'm new to this site, and as of right now, i dont have any kind of system in my truck, and i'm debating on a pair of 12 inch kicker comps with a 800w amp, or a pair of 12 inch rockford p2's with a 800w amp, which one would sound better and hold up better, what yall say will help me determine what i'm gonna get

    thanks

Well, what are you looking for in a system(loudness V. sound quality) and how much are you willing to spend? Also what amp? answer those and we can help you a little better.

I voted kicker, but thats cause i was too lazy to read the other at the bottom....i like RE for subs, and there are a ton of amps out there.

Re: Does this setup sound good??

I voted fosgate because the low end fosgate punch speakers I've heard sound a hell of a lot better than kicker comps. kicker comps ****.. that's just me though. However, I'd go with another brand all together. You should check out a pair of infinity perfects and a hifonics amp... give them their rms and they should be even spl/sq for a truck and come under your budget.
