    Is this a good setup

    Kenwood HU
    1 4ohm L7 15"
    1 brutus bx1000D

    it all comes out to 807$ and thats bout the budget...
    is there nething better out there....is that enuff power....plz help...im stuggling

    Amp is rather big. Save some money and get a 750D or a 1000D. Your gonna need the spare cash for a good box. Plus one of those in a good ported enclosure will get pretty dam loud for a daily driver system.

    if u put that sub in a ported that sub is gonna get VERY loud especially for daily driving.

    Yep, as long as install is right it should sound good. I'd personally take a 15" XXX or Brahma over an L7 any day, just because its nice to be able to get loud and have good SQ at the same time, but thats just my personal preference. Don't let my opinion influence you at all (*wink wink, nudge nudge*) If its just a street/DD system, what you are planning on right now is a great start. Not a bad choice if you do decide to take it to the competition level, get another 15 incher, and another amp, a nice big ported box, and you are looking at 140s at least.
