i like my dd3515d so much that i think i may have to get another one. how will 2 of these subs do in a sealed enclosure? also if i dont do that, im thinking of selling my 15" and getting 2 10" and porting them, and upgrading the amp so they both get 1000w. would i notice a difference between a 15" with same volume ported to same frequency with 1000w and 2 10" ported with same volume to same frequency with 2000w?

but dd reccomends all of their subs ported and they go on and give this long *** explanation as to why they should be. and i cant fit 2 15" ported in my civic. maybe 2 sealed though. will the difference be noticible if i try that?

2 15" will go way way lower. i had my brahma in a super small sealed, it sounded o.k with only 500w

the 15's will probably go lower, but 2 10"s properly powered and ported has the ability to get louder and still pretty darn low.

i sincerely doubt that is near enough breathing room for 2 15's ported. specially d&d's. your 1 15"dd ported compared to 2 10"s sealed w 2x watts will prolly be around the same output (guesstimate-dont have programs at work here), but of course you'll have a generally flater response curve.

Hey, you absolutly could do 2 15"s in a 3.0ft ported but it will not necessarily be a good setup.
