    Icon31 Alpine 12" Type R 4Ohms

I just bought one Alpine 12" Type R it is 4 ohms and I want to know if a Kenwood 450watt 2 channel amp would push it successfully. I've never owned anything kenwood and would like to know if they measure up. If anybody has any other suggestions on any type of amp that would push this thing I would like to hear it. Something preferably cheap but something good.

the rms on the type r's are 300rms.mtx has a 6500d
at 250+1list for 550 but thats list price.
    rockford has a 300s at 75 +2 or 300+1list for 250
remeber list is always higher than retail.most of the time.

if the sub's rms rating is 300w then it will be best suited with an amp that has a rms watt rating as close to it as possible without going more than 100w over the sub's.

the Rf should push it great, RF's are usually underrated, and im sure it will be and the Type R's are know for taking much more than their rated power
