    Ultimate Cupric Subs

    I don't know if anybody has ever seen or heard these subs. But I bought one from a friend for 50 bucks just to play around with it. Most of the crap I have seen from ultimate ***** balls. It's usually cheap, and crappily ( if that's a word ) made junk. I built a 1.5cuft sealed enclosure and put it in it. Powered it with a bd500.1 and this thing sounds awesome. I just about wet myself with excitement after hearing it If you ever get the chance to listen to one. Take the time to listen surprisingly they sound good.

    I'm serious as a heart attack I'm going to give it the excursion test tonight after work It supposedly has 18mm xmax one way. And can handle 500w RMS. Soooo I'm gonna hook up the bd1500.1 to the 12v power supply in the garage Any bets on how long it takes to blow it

    And I will be running it at 2ohm. The sub is dual 4ohm. I got a big 6 cuft ported box I am working on for a friend in my garage I might try it out in that. See if I can at least knock something off the shelves in the garage

    I can't kill the d@mn thing. It just won't die I have run 15 second burps with 1680w with every frequency between 18hz-90hz. The thing won't die. Right now I have the cd repeating. It's shaking the h@ll out of my garage but it won't die.

    i know how you can kill the biotch.

    put a screwdriver on the edge of a table, wait til the bass pushes it off, then pick up the screw driver, get a REAL serious face and say, "I'll kill you!!!" and swing that screw driver like theres no tomorow into the cone. then rip apart the coils and say "Now try and play those low 21Hz tones!! Biotch"..

    sound good?

    i did that with my old pyramid sub when it blew. now im turning it into 'Ghetto Sub'..

    cone= tin pie plate
    voice coils= those mosquito burner repelants
    magnet= tomato sauce can, a big one, i may even double stack it

    I've read reviews on this sub, and they are all positive. I've heard it as well, and has a surprising amount of excursion for a SQ subwoofer.

    Is this not a reasonable place to park?
