    New sub/box design....comments?

    How do you guys think a 5.79 ft^3 ported box with 2 JBL 10" WGTi's tuned to 40hz would do?

    IMO...I'd go for about 4-4.5 cubes net, and tune lower...

    Btw, this box design would have the woofers sharing air space, and there would be one square port.

    yeah, common chamber boxes are somewhat better for ported setups...

    Personally, I would tune lower. WGTi's are really nice subs, and unless you're going for pure SPL (which you might be, who knows), you're sacrificing a lot of the SQ you could be getting with them.

    If you're going all out SPL, disregard my comments.

    Im going more for SPL than SQ..so I think 40 would be good, 35 might have been better though
