    RE Audio

okay... picking up a grand cherokee next week....
    8 - RE8's (4 in 2^ft & 4 in 2^ft)? or 2- SX12 (each 2.5^ft)?
    tuned to 30-32hz & 1200-1500 RMS eitherway...

I'm not asking which is louder or gets higher scores or anything (been reading around here to long to be that nieve... i hope). Just what do you guys think would be a better setup for sql?? What would YOU pick? I like the 8-8's for shock value.... LoL

    Thanks... :thumbsup

Would really be cool to see 8 8's in any vehicle.. If you've got the room and the money.. you can see 12s anyday.. but 8 8's might getcha laid..As for the RE and SX I really don't know.. I have heard alot of good things about RE just haven't owned any yet..Anyways goodluck with settin that up

    Re: RE Audio

eight 8" subs that are as loud as two 12's is not impresive. 2-4 8" subs as loud as two 12's is impressive.

But eight 8's will LOOK tight.

    Re: RE Audio

I agree with everyone, 8's just have the cool factor that 12's don't. Now only if IA would make DP's in eights....muahahahhaha

Owell, maybe one day they will...

thats what i was thinking too. i'm thinking about 8-8's instead of 4 so that i can push the wattage... Besides, I'm really thinking that the 8's should be louder (given proper boxes and all) because of more overall sd and such...

c'mon where are the rest of the experts?? LoL

    Re: RE Audio

I think 8 RE 8's would be cool and a good idea , but personally i prfer a lesser quantity of subs like 2 but thats me im not saying i dont like 8 8's thats pretty bad *** i jsut liek to have a two sub setup that will blow you away . When people seens alot of speakers they think thats loud when the see less they think its not loud until you show them wrong . But go for the 8 's

that's an awsome setup man. You should try getting it meter. Play some test tone CD and see how low it gets.
