    first sub set up

I might be getting two 12's for free

well I might be able to get them...if i'm good

    but they are Coustic 12RD

heres a couple links on them...so are these fine for a first setup?

need acrobat reader for this one - http://coustic.com/classic/PDFs/12RD.PDF

    this one is a review - http://www.carsound.com/reviews/subs/12rd.html

I was thinking bout wiring them in 1 ohm and get a 1000 watt 1 ohm amp

I don't know much but car audio but sound good?

    Re: first sub set up

What about Hifonics 1000dBx seems like it would be perfect and it runs fine @ 1 ohm and you can get one for about 200 bucks brand new off ebay. but if you are strictly staying with your dad's shop talk to him and get him to set you up with the best bang for the buck he carrys
