My first ever budget build!
Panasonic CQ-RX100U Head Unit
Sundown E-15 DVC 4-ohm Sub wired to 2-ohms
R/T 300 318-15 Labyrinth Ported Enclosure
Kenwood KAC-5001PS 1000W Mono D Amp
KnuKonceptz 4 Gauge Wiring Kit
All brand spankin' new. Total Cost: $320
Ive heard tons of other single 15's, and for the all around cost, I have yet to hear one that will match this one. This sub/box/amp match-up will take your breath away, literally! I pulled up behind some people I know at a stoplight (not even beside them) while playing some louder music and they later told me the bass was shaking everything in their car! I'm completely astounded by this system for what it is, I did not believe that my setup could do this. Sweet. I'm pretty happy for my first build. These Sundown subs are underrated, and for the price, man!

Re: My first ever budget build!
Nice budget set up man post some videos.
Re: My first ever budget build!
Thanks man. Will do if I can get the video file in a different format lol The only thing I don't like about sub demo videos is the bass either seems way better than it actually is or does 0 justice and seems like crap.
Re: My first ever budget build!
I am soon upgrading the head unit to something better. I got the Panasonic brand new for really cheap from a friend and I will use just use it in another vehicle. Next thing after that will possibly be speakers.
Re: My first ever budget build!
how many cu ft u got there?
Re: My first ever budget build!
Nice job! I love to see how far people can go in a budget system. Spent 270 on mine. BNIB Kenwood mp345u off Criagslist (50 bucks), 15" Polk MM (89 bucks Crutchfield sale), Prefab 1.9^3 sealed box (Sonic box), refurbed Pioneer 2 channel (puts out 380 @ 4 ohm bridged) and an 8 gauge kit I had laying there. Sounds like a champ!
Re: My first ever budget build!
Don't know on the cu ft, if you really want to know I could add it all up but that's being productive so I don't know... lol
Re: My first ever budget build!
Nice build, I bet that does sound good! Yeah I love these budget builds, wasn't in a hurry and just waited for the deals to come to me. Could have done it cheaper used, but I wanted everything brand new because Ill probably keep this setup forever.
Re: My first ever budget build!
