who cares what sub it is, he's asking for info or help.... what readings did you get with the DMM
The sub doesn't make a scratching sound when I press on it ,in the centre, but when I press on one side then its like the bass disappears but still plays music, but when pressed on the other side of the cone, the sub plays with less distortion!....could it be that the one coil could be damaged from have gravitational force plus the weight of the spider leaning down on it for almost a year ?

Yes It feels scratchy/stuck when I press abit hard in the centre,Only when the sub is completely pressed down.....the cone feels abit stiff too
