    Re: Help on picking subs

A pair of IDQs would work in that box but they perform better in larger enclosures (around 1 cube sealed each)

Dayton HO10s would work well too, .7 sealed each is optimal but they will work in a little bit smaller too

    Re: Help on picking subs

The 10" Alpine Type X's I have for sale have a recommended sealed of .5-1.0 each, so that box while on the small side would work for them. LMK

Current set up: 94 Toyota Chaser (1JZ motor) On deck for that car? No HU atm, 3 way active (Vifa Tweets, CDT 04's and 06's) powered by either a Zed Draconia , 2 Obsidian Audio 10's powered by a B2 Audio Zero.3

Nissan Cube3: Stock Nav HU, need Processor, speakers and subs. Will be using Soundstream DaVinci for power

66 Pontiac GTO, modified stock radio, Crossfire CFA 302, Kicker KS6.2's in the front kicks, Crossfire CFA 452 for the 6x9's I need.

A pair of Dayton HO'S would be much cheaper than a pair of IDQ'S. I really would love to be able to hear some Dayton's. I feel like they may be the subs for me but I'm afraid to buy something unless I hear it first. That and bills keep piling up stopping me from buying my system
