So basically find a sub rated at 2,000 watts or more with the lowest FS, build the right enclosure for it and call it a day?

I've looked many times and the CF looks very simular also. The Evil looks to have a smaller diameter motor but stacked higher. They are to simular to call much different

Evil is closer to a xsv2 not an sp4

I think the evil uses 4 spiders and the xsv2 uses 5 other then that they "look" almost identical

So it has a extended plate but it looks to be the same height and the same amount of ferrite. Does that really change it that much? I'm not a sub designer so I don't know

What's with the obsession with FS? There is alot more to a driver than fs. All FS indicates is free air resonance. As soon as the woofer gets put into a box it's fs changes, and ported setups make FS even more useless since then the resonance of the enclosure is dominating the response.

Regardless the SP4 should be good for your application. If your willing to wait a few months the Sundown Z4 seems like it would be RIGHT up your alley as well.

So you are another one of those people that talk **** with nothing to back it up? i may not always explain things 100% correct but at least i try to get some kind of point across. Instead of just saying "its good".
