    Onyx - The Monster... 12-24 claims to withstand 40,000 watts...
    whats your thoughts on that???

    I'm not one to doubt a company like Onyx, just seems to be a little far-fetched.

    I saw it in CA&E also.

    RE SX 15" D4 is here with a 5.0 cuft box tuned to 46 hz for comps.

    Port plug for 32hz daily.

    MTX 81000d give it 1225 rms at 2 ohms.

    143 on the new termlab (old box...5.1@36hz).

    20k wats just doesn't seem practical, unless it has an xmax of like 140mm or something.

    I've heard of a DP taking 16K RMS but, 20K RMS that has to be one freaking tough sub....

    The Xmax, Xmag, and Xsus have very little to do with power handling. Granted the Xmax would most likely be larger, your insite is wrong.

    Look at DD woofers. Definitely nothing impressive as far as Xsus goes, but look at the numbers they put up...
