    Enclsure question

I'm thinking about buying a ported box from craigslist, but it looks like the previous guy bolted his amp directly to the box. Is there a good way to go about sealing up the holes where the bolts were?

That's more like it, thanks. I was just wondering if there's some universal best way to plug holes in sub boxes. I didn't want to plug it with something and then find out it couldn't handle the pressure of the subs.

You do realize that a custom box on average is pretty inexpensive.

Yeah I know they're not too much, but I don't know anybody who could build me one. I looked into building my own for a bit but it seems like a somewhat complicated thing. I might try it sometime in the future but for now I just thought I'd buy a kicker factory made box for $30 that's supposed to be already tuned for my subs.

I've actually read that in other forums. So yours didn't really sound good? Would they sound noticeably better in a box built to kicker's specs?
