Which 12s? Ported w 500 watts each in trunk

Car is a 2012 chrysler 300. Amp is an Orion xtrpro 1000d so need final ohm load to be 1 ohm. I have about 4 ft3 gross total or 1.6-1.7 ft3 ported for each 12. Want to tune the box around 30, looking for nice SQL. Not sure on box design either, thinking maybe firing and port towards cabin and sealmoff trunk. Help is appreciated!

With that information I would look into the Diamond Audio SX124. This is a serious SQL sub that has 1.25 cu ft per sub for the recommended ported box volume, after vent and sub displacement.

why not get some old school xtr pro's to match your amp perfectly built by tc sounds and they love small ported boxes and absolutely love to be tuned low ported only requires 1.5 cube

I haven't, but they're basically the Diamond D6 with a slight overhaul and name change. Plenty of people have used the D6s.

Check out the C2 Audio sub forum. Pre-sale will be starting on their 12" Threatcon 2's shortly. They are rated at 600 RMS a piece and are very affordable.

Power handling and Xmax are kinda weak on the dcon and the gcon needs too big of a box. I've looked into the orions but not really into the generic dust cap look. Learning more about the diamonds but not a lot of info out there. C2 looks nice but rather get something that already has a lot of feedback. Sorry for negativity! I do appreciate all the help.

There a few on here that can custom build to whatever spec you need, splaudio is just one that comes to mind. Or mylows might be able to help.

I like the Dcon/Gcon ideas. The Gcon can go small enclosure wise, and as for the Dcon, don't just it based on our conservative ratings, it wow's people constantly for the performance value it is.

you still looking because im trying to get rid of some mint d6 ten dual 4 so you could wire down to 1 ohm
