2 500 rms subs or 1 1000 rms??

I have 2 Type R's right now, both 500 rms, but I'm looking to trade for a Type X 10 inch that is 1000 rms. Is it going to be pretty much the same? I just need more trunk space

won't be as loud since it will have less cone area....if you want the trunk space its a sacrifice to make. type X is nice though!

Keep the two subs, will perform much better,but if you need trunk space, the one ten,at prob 1.4 cu ft before displacement, should get you bye.Ported.Id throw everything I needed in the back seat,and forget about the trunk, or look into getting an xcab truck, and get away from the car scene
