    DD cooling

Local shop is selling DD and I'm wondering is this type of cooling normal? Impressed me really. I could only assume this is their lower level gear. Most shops don't sit their good stuff out.

    Current Setup:
    1998 Ford Explorer

    JVC KW-AV61BT

Time to rebuild. Gonna do it right this time

What do you mean "is it normal"? If you mean not all covered up in cheap plastic, then yes it's normal. That looks like a higher end DD sub. 3500 or 9500

    Re: DD cooling

Gap venting is new to dd , but has been around since the 1950's according to SJA ind.
Ironic there using gap venting now considering they were so against it for so many years though, and this looks like a new 2500 they are using stamped baskets on them now I believe.
