i knoooow i completely forgot to make one for the sundowns... but i forgot i had a video of the rf's in the box you designed! they're only wired to 4 ohms in the video though so not much power at all... i think my amp does 400 @ 4 ohms? regardless, they still got pretty effin loud

Looks pretty good for 400 Watts. Them sundowns gotta be a night and day switch over. Louder and lower. I think those sa's would like that low tuning better than the rockfords.

thanks man. the difference is insane, the SQ is so much better on the sundowns and they definitely get lower. however, on the 400 watts the rockford's were definitely louder. i always looked at the rockford P3's as more of a SPL oriented sub anyway.

I don't have my sundowns anymore. But here is when I did have them. too bad the box was too big. so I never got full potential out of them.

The p3's on 400 Watts are louder than the sa's on 1k? Have you checked your final load with a dmm to confirm your getting a 1 ohm load?
