    Sundown SA-12 ?

Sundown recommends the enclosure to be tuned to 35hz, if my enclosure is tuned to 38hz will it still sound good?

    Re: Sundown SA-12 ?

Our customers tune them anywhere from 28 to 40 Hz for daily boxes ; this depends on your taste. We suggest a middle-ground 35 Hz tuning for most customers but if you listen to lots of LOW stuff tune down lower

It also depends greatly on the application and installation. In some cases a low tuning to play low is not actually required.

There are many many variables out there when considering "tuning" of an enclosure.

Its for a 1996 Dodge Neon. I emailed you last week and talked to you about having the box built, I am just trying to decide what Hz I should have it built to. Send me a invoice this week, I would like to go ahead and get it going.

Don't go 38 IMO that's too high of tuning for me. The sa's will sound nice around 32 hz
