    another bandpass ???

Do bandpass boxes have ANY good attributes? I had 4 12" speakers in my Navigator and i sold the box that i made for about 5 times as much as it costed me to make it. Would a bandpass with 3 12s sound good in my vehicle. I listen to rap and r&b and am wanting a nice amount of bass.

i personally would stay away from bandpass boxes....the only thing they are good at is producing the small freq. range they are tuned for....outside that freq. range they sound muddy...i would go w/ a large ported box to acheive the sound you are wanting....good luck
