    What is a DMM?

    look at some clamps on this forum of the aspm they put out dirty power period. the dsc is your best option for under 1000 bucks and it runs cool at 1 ohm i have owned a dsc1000 and dsc2000 no problems amazing quality. on a fi ssd at 1000rms with big 3 you will be plenty fine. you dont want the audiopipe if you want effecient clean power.

    the re audio is crap, the owners of psi and fi left re audio when they where bought out by us amps and they never been the same again. the incriminators are great but for 195 you can get an ssd for around the same price built to order for a sealed box thats small.

    the only way to accurately tune an amp is with an oscilloscope

    long are the days of class a/b amps running at 1 ohm bridged where you can cook an egg on them . even though i love my orion hcca's. You dont have to worry about this as much anymore. like i said the mb quart dsc is the best 1k under 150 amp around period and runs cool.

    Re: 10" sub Poll

    Would using a dsc1000 to power a fi q10 be underpowering it too much? i guess if i went with the dsc1000 i was wondering if the q10 would sound better than the ssd10.

    Xmax = 52mm total
    Usable excursion = 2.5" total

    well there you go you answered your own question lol,some companies use xmax as a total peak-to-peak and some use it as xmax one way,usually if its a high number its p2p,a low number is one way,not all companies specify one way or p2p though so they leave you the consumer to determine for yourself what they mean.

    Oh. I don't know the difference from peak to peak and one way. Peak to peak is how much it flexes both ways?

    yes peak-to-peak is both ways the total excursion in mm ,now to convert that to inches is

    mm divided by 25.4 = excursion in inches

    1 inch is EXACTLY 25.4 mm
