If you are going for sq, dont buy that kicker. Honestly i wouldnt buy the kicker if you were going for spl, sql, or sq, lol. Much better can be had for the money. Do your big 3 in 0 gauge wire, use something like audio technix or knukonceptz.

Read up on this fourm and see what equipment people are running, look into american bass, fi, DC, DD, Sundown, Audioque, SSA brands like that. Audioque has a 2200 watt amp for 60 bucks less than your rockford. Gives you head room to upgrade later down the road.

    Re: New setup input

I want something loud but as I have the space I was going to use the SQ box specs. I have been lurking the forums and was talking with some coworkers about the W7 SA12 / 15 and decided to go with the L7. How good is the AMP in your opinion? I was looking at a hifonics but hear that it works but isnt that great...

    Re: New setup input

The trunk is 18.6 cu ft.

I was originally talking about putting 2 12's in and my coworkers suggested going up to a single 15. The L7 has been known for high SPL/SQL and Im fine with that. I want something that will out put massive bass and not sound like sh**.

The audioque 2200 only being 60$ less... is it a better sub or on par? I dont want to upgrade this system unless I blow it or burn it up...
