Are there any subs similar to these which possess sound quality with the ability to get loud?
Last time I built a system (several years ago) I could find a 12" Q any day of the week, where now, I'm struggling to locate any of the above (used that is).
Anything worth expanding my horizons to? As you can tell from above, something in the 800-1200rms range
why are u having trouble finding a flatlyne? The ssa store has them or u can hit up @GAMEOVERCCA ; for one. I personally love mine, it it very accurate and appears to have a very flat response curve, it also gets Very loud off of the 900w im feeding it. It sounds great on classical, orchestra music as well.

Finding one used. Just spent a fortune on a new car (hence the new build) and my wife is going to kill me if I spend a fortune on car audio now haha

The Icon sounds great, but it is a different approach, I would say the Gcon is closer to the FL in overall sound. The FL is a very nice underhung design, the customers who have chosen them have loved them. We have not had anyone complain of a failure or performance issue.
