speakers: stock
wiring: stinger 0/1 gauge amp kit
enclosure: 4.5 cubic ft. tuned to 34hz
all wrapped in a 99 town car with 22's O yeah.
It would be close but I would say the h2's b/c of surface area and the solo would not have full power. I heard the new 12 solo X's (at very low volume) and I was actuly quite impressed... At low volumes it was very clear i didn't think they would sound that good...
I think it would be close either way

Another question I wanted to ask is that can you use either of these subs for regular music or are they just for burps?

My new h2 sounds really good and clear in a sealed box. I plan on listening to it every day. Yesterday I pulled 146 db on the dash with only 1220 watts rms going to it. Thats not bad for one 12 in a sealed box.
The Solo in my opinion would be used just mainly for blurps, I doubt it would sounds good at high volumes and any of Kickers solos are not known for the SQ. b/c its a little brother of the origional solo X i would say that it is more of a comp driver than a daily driver IMOAnother question I wanted to ask is that can you use either of these subs for regular music or are they just for burps?

H2's were made for sq but just happen to be really fukin loud.....Same as xxx's,brahmas etc...... I think 3 cubes is a touch to big for for an h2 12. I would recommend the h2 but I also must say I haven't heard (or seen in real life) a solo-x. So take it for what its worthOriginally Posted by 78nova
what do you mean i wont be giving it enough to move, it only needs 2500 isnt 2000 enoughOriginally Posted by DBfan187

Orion recommends 1 cubic ft. ported to 31hz and 2500 watts

for the 12H2, go about 2.5-3 cubes, 30hz and 30-40" of port
