Hi guys, I have been out of the car audio game for 7 years now, and really need some help.
This is what i USED to have:
2 12" OLD SCHOOL Cerwin Vega Strokers (orange cone)
2 HiFonics Brutus 2400 amps
I do NOT want that much bass anymore.
It will be going in my GMC Envoy.
When I left the audio game, Adire and RE were great, and FI was coming up.
I see Adire is dead, RE is okay, and FI is still good.
Sound Quality is more important than SPL.
Price is no real issue.
All help appreciated.

Fi Q are good SQ drivers out of those brands you named.
I know a thing or two....
I have a 2010 12" re xxx. I have it in a little bigger of a box, 3.76 cubes at 35 hertz, for now at least. On a hifonics zrx.2000.1D til my aq2200 comes. It will get as loud as I want it to be, or just blend perfectly with my speakers. It is very efficient, will get loud on not a whole lot of watts. Hits extremely low and somewhat high, but it doesn't like notes around 60+ hertz. It is very clear and crisp. To me it's not worth the asking price as other woofers will exceed it for the price. But if you can get it cheap or don't care to spend it, then it's a great driver. FI I haven't owned yet, plan to someday but not now. It is a very good driver too, hand built in the USA so quite is amazing. And they will stand behind their product. The newer strokers I don't know about though, hopefully someone will chime in on those. Hope this helped.goodluck
