Re: choosing 8" budget subwoofer for 2 channels of JL audio 300/4

the system is in the my vehicle now with 1pc 12" subwoofer but.. i want to have more room so i want to replace 12" subwoofer with an 8"..
i dont want to spend too much on my car audio.. just a simple system better than factory's will be good enough for me

    thank you guys for comments...
still thinking of getting RE now... has anyone tried this brand? anygood for sq?

how about the infinity 860w? its around the same pricerange... but i think.. my amp will have a hard time powering that subwoofer right..

maybe an RE is good enough?
    thanks

I have the infinity 860W . I was surprised. They are very well made . I was running an Audiopipe apsm 1300 feeding them and they were loud to say the least. I thought I was upgrading with a memphis amp 500.1 and 2 sundown SA-8 .. I guess I needed more amp for the sundowns , because the infinity's were far better sounding with the apsm . I had custom built tuned boxes for them .

I actually went back to the Infinity's running off an Aura amp . I plan on running 4 of the infinity in my CRX and putting the Sundowns in my 65' Mustang.

I have a video of them running, lets see if I can load it up.
