    We have / will in the future sell our frames for certain projects that are not Sundown Audio products ; we do own the patents on our 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 and soon 18 frames so nobody unauthorized in the USA can use them.

    Small motor for a 6500 watt coil..
    It's not even finished?

    Easily possible. Possible with single spider.... if you get the right spider. Most better quality cones won't shred under that power either.

    From my experience thermal limits of a coil are the main problem when trying to feed more than a couple thousand watts at a driver.

    Good luck to anyone paying 800$ to preorder from a company with no history and not even a working prototype built. IMO what's the point? How much better can this be than a dozen other big motors on the market?
