Now, lets get back on topic if we can.

Discuss the new woofer good/bad/indifferent what ever floats your boat.
I was just saying lock because there's no place for the discussion to go and stay on this topic, there was nothing engaging brought up about it really. Wasn't talking people getting out of hands and needing vacations.

I'll pull a Snoop and do a call out Pro thread saying the mod's have a hard on for me

    JK, I'll get on topic

Wouldn't that be tiny for such a monster sub? Unless you are assuming it follows Sundown design and thrives in smaller end enclosures?

I was just basing it off other larger basic subs. I have no idea on this sub to be honest. I think it is a bit far fetched to think it will become much in the future unless the pricing is half of what others cost.

Best put my ninja suit on...

Well its "Pre-order" prices are kind of on par with high end 4" VC subs (excluding the almighty B2), so I don't see that happening either

Yea, at $800 they are stretching it a bit I think.

    Re: EMF Audio "Ermagerd"

There are a few subs I'd pay $800 for. Some no-name sub that has "no off the shelf parts" (ie. parts that haven't been seen working properly in other subs) is not one of them.

Knowing where the sub comes from I'm sure it will work decently, just hard to say for that price it would be worth it. The market we have currently can not sustain such products.

Stupid consumerism. We are hurting sub development because we are unwilling to pay R&D costs.

I agree. I dont see large enough market to such a driver in this economy. Although according to his FB post, he says they are selling. Idk

I do not have a TSNS motor. Boy do I wish I did. Not to pick at these subs in any way. They have blown away every expectation I had of them and then had plenty more left in them.
oh gotcha, Ti basket is not stock, can't imagine it adding quite that much weight but shipping weight on my original trf's from rockford was 65lbs including the heavy duty box it shipped in.
