I did not see anything about the size/type of enclosure needed for this sub.. Anyone know?

Considering I don't even think one has been completely built, it's not been figured yet.

Basing it only off what I have read on other forums about the sub and it's construction I would think around 2.25ft3(for a 12") net volume would be a starting point, but I'm not sure what type of soft parts are going to be used in production as I have not followed this very closely.

Wouldn't that be tiny for such a monster sub? Unless you are assuming it follows Sundown design and thrives in smaller end enclosures?

I was just basing it off other larger basic subs. I have no idea on this sub to be honest. I think it is a bit far fetched to think it will become much in the future unless the pricing is half of what others cost.

Well its "Pre-order" prices are kind of on par with high end 4" VC subs (excluding the almighty B2), so I don't see that happening either

There are a few subs I'd pay $800 for. Some no-name sub that has "no off the shelf parts" (ie. parts that haven't been seen working properly in other subs) is not one of them.

Knowing where the sub comes from I'm sure it will work decently, just hard to say for that price it would be worth it. The market we have currently can not sustain such products.

From what I know this is a basic TRF black top. I'm not too versed in the TRF or TSNS, honestly. I'm taking all information about them from the guy that built them. I personally put these on a scale, however and they were 87lbs each fully built. Typical TI 15" basket, OEM TSNS softs. Shipping weight was either 104 or 114 lbs boxed, don't remember.

I do not have a TSNS motor. Boy do I wish I did. Not to pick at these subs in any way. They have blown away every expectation I had of them and then had plenty more left in them.

oh gotcha, Ti basket is not stock, can't imagine it adding quite that much weight but shipping weight on my original trf's from rockford was 65lbs including the heavy duty box it shipped in.
