    do RF amps overheat easily??

    Do the RF punch 360 or the 500.2 overheat by any chance??

    Yes all rf amps are nitorus for overheating but they should shut off if they get too hot the new ones do anyway.

    I have a 1998 RF punch 360. During the summer months it will get too hot to touch, but it shuts off when it reaches a certain temp. I defeated this by turning the gains down and the punch bass down. During the fall or winter months I've never had a prob with it shutting off.
