Ive heard what it sounds like when i drive by people

Their vehicles will be vibrating and you can clearly hear it. It's even worse if their windows are down.

Standing outside the vehicle you can hear it from quite a distance away

It really doesn't take much nowadays to be heard

Like Ion said. Your system is for you, not everybody in a two block radius.

You should consider different subs and amps. That equipment is overpriced, and there are other audio companies that make solid products for a price that reflects better value. You also need to understand that the RMS of a sub is not the only determining factor of how loud it is, so don't get consumed in buying the highest power handling you can afford. You'd be better off running lower power and higher cone area.

be heard farthest away = mount box on roof of vehicle

vibrate rearview mirror = loosen attaching screw on mirror

most flex = take out most of the body panel mounting screws

wanna break windows with your bass = turn up stereo and when nobody is looking throw a brick through the window

Either setup you get isn't going to be anything amazing. Look into some better subs and more power.

Also the enclosure will be the deciding factor if you get loud or not.

    I lol'ed.

Look, OP, the type of setup you're asking us advice on is the exact kind of thing we in the car audio community work so hard to stop. If you think a good system needs to be heard blocks away and shatter windows, then you should be asking the guys on SMD who don't really give two shits about how a system actually sounds.

Get on this forum and learn about what makes a good system and when you feel you're ready, pose another question that won't make our brains hurt.

Here is a more direct answer to you question and a friendly reminder to keep trolling to the dome for all the members here.

No one will ever be able to tell you what will would sound "better" or be "louder" with out testing all options for SPL and what you personally like better. As mentioned though, your goals are not what this hobby is about, however many of the members here will hide the fact that your very ideas are how so many get started in this hobby. So just take half what this forum tells you with a grain of salt and don't worry about the trolling, it will be ending outside of the dome very very soon as members start to find them self banned for a period of time rather then just deleting posts.

I was 16 once so I feel for what your saying. Put the two twelve in a custom box by starr mountain and take it from there. U will learn as u go along. Keep reading and staying up on the goods. I do think u should keep your options open as far as subs. So many amazing brands out there that u should look at.
