10" SQL Subwoofers that work well in small sealed enclosures

Ok, I'm getting an Infiniti G37x soon and my wife's work decided to change their vehicles from SUV to energy efficient so having my trunk is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, to maintain trunk space I needed to purchase the prefab sealed enclosure built for my car (i know ).
Zenclosures Infiniti G37 Subwoofer Enclosure Sub Box | eBay

Anyways, both 10's will only have .5 cubes to work with each (1ft overall)
I want to get subs in line before purchasing an amp, but everything will be run off stock electrical so I'm aiming @ somewhere between 300-500rms per sub so I can run a 600-1k watt amp.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Searching seemed to reveal SSA DCons as a common vote, but they say the ideal box is .9 and small would be .75, still too big.

I was looking at DC Level 2s? Will they sound OK off only 500w each? Everything seems to insinuate to throw 700 or so @ each one.

Thats pretty small for a 10". My ID8's required a .5 sealed cubes per sub.

For small sealed, on that power for our sub woofers, I would suggest the Gcon 10.

I don't Know if the Dayton Audio UM10-22 10" Ultimax fits the bill for you, .63 sealed box ideal. It came recomended to me and may be worth looking at.
I ordered one and am looking forward to trying it out. It mite work for you too.
Dayton is known to make some good subs but this one is Brand new (not even available until 12-27) and has know reviews that i know of. I'm a rockie and can't make out what all the specs mean, but what i can make out seems very good.

Boston G3 10. 0.5 cu ft sealed. Price is cheap right now too. I have one mounted in my Buick and I'm intending to give it 400 watts. I wish I could give you a review, but it's friggin cold out here and I think it'll be a while before it's all hooked up.

If the Ultimax doesn't the HO should. Have heard great things about those being in 0.5 cubes. My ID10 is doing pretty well in its tiny box right now, but definitely not performing at its potential.

Are Ascendant Audio Arsenals still at all relevant? They seem to work in small sealed enclosures.

Re: 10" SQL Subwoofers that work well in small sealed enclosures

    Boston G3 10
    Dayton HO 10
Alpine Type R 10 (works in as little as 0.4. Optimum is .5 net)

Few off the top of my head that I'd look into.

The Type R will handle the most power but iirc the Dayton is a bit more efficient and the Boston even more so.
Type R has 20mm xmax compared to the Bostons 14.5 and the Daytons 12mm.

Almost seems like an unfair comparison which brings me to think about the new Alpine Type S 10s.

They're only 85 bucks each new. Small sealed boxes still yield an f3 in the low to mid 40s iirc with about 15mm xmax and power handling up to 500wrms (which is seemingly pretty underrated for a well designed 2.5" coiled woofer, seems like its only drawback would be its limited xmax in comparison to its big brother, Type R) and they have an underhung design similar to the new Type R thins. Regarded as awesome budget SQ/SQL subs.
