Any good square subs? Or come back to round?

if you got a square hole box just buy a peice of wood at lowes/home depot, doesnt have to be a whole sheet, they sell smaller peices, then cut a round hole in it

never been a fan of the square subs or kicker in general. yes they get loud but imo they sound sloppy and distorted... im currently running a sundown sa series as well as a dc audio level 3.. i prefer the dc, clean sounding and gets loud.

I don't know why everyone hates on Kicker all the time. I've had a few squares and I like em. Not the best sounding but they do the job. I'm not talking about paying retail cause that's crazy but if you can get an L5 or L7 off Craigslist for cheap I think they do alright... Certainly not the worst drivers. That's all I'm saying.

One of the loudest 2k setups I've ever heard was 2 L7 15s. Would hurt your ears really. This was back in like 05 thou

thats what i'm thinking.. the sundown wants the same space and hertz so **** it..lol

just to clear things up i might of got a ****** sub. but google kicker square spider or something to that affect.. its a common problem!! wish i knew before hand..

Solo X i'm asuming is a different drive and thats the top of the line. I'm sure they put more into them.

if you dont mind can i ask why you sugest these subs??? i heard a little on here about the Lethal Injection.. Are they underrated like Sundown? are they bullet proof.. ?
