TWO 10's… Which one do I buy? SA, HDC3, DC, SSA, DD...

I have been back and forth on the setup I am going to go with for my new truck. I am pretty sure I will be going with two 10's.. My options are open but I have been looking at these; Sundown SA, AQ HDC3, DC lvl 2 or 3, SSA Icon or Gcon, FI SSD10 or BL10… I am flustered on which ones to settle on!

Any others I should look at? I will be feeding them with 800w each in a ported 1-1.2 ft^3 per sub

Give me some reasons behind your choice not just a pick please

Dayton Audio HO 10" DVC. Dirt cheap and amazing SQ, even when ported. Those will take 800W easily as long as the signal is clean. There's tons of Youtube videos showing off their trunk flex if you need visual confirmation.

Otherwise, from your list, I'd go with the SA or GCON

OOOOO just looked at the sundown Facebook page and see the x10… Lets add that to the growing list of what I have to choose from

I'm really happy with my Level 3's. Mine are ported @ 33Hz off a DC 2.0k, so you won't have to worry about power handling issues. They wouldn't mind that little airspace either.

Level 3's only $180? That intriuges me…. I am leaning to either the SA or the Level 3… I know Sundowns customer service and passion are hands down the best

I think he is trying to point out that they are all very similar in design like they all had the same goals in mind when designed.... If you have the budget for the sundown x-10 those will destroy anything you have listed in the poll, that is if you have the power and space for them

I can afford the x-10 but I think you got me on the space needed. I am putting them forward facing in a silverado crew cab and max out at about 1.2 ft^3. I just need to decide either the Sundown or the DC.

I have Brian at starmountain building me a enclosure so that is handled. Just gotta figure out what to put in it
