    Suggest a 8"

Hey guys, I am about to go to a single 8, trunk room is killin' me however I can't go back to no substage.

Dropping my old setup into a family memberscar, they let me use their car as a project car. :-P

So, suggest me a 8" that likes a small box, I listen to it all, Johnny cash to Rick Ross.

Have a Spare 1700watts to play with.

Your not gonna get an 8" sub that will take that kind of power 1000 rms for most I have some dd 1508 subs dual 4 that are rated 600 rms and 2400 max in the right box they'll take 1000 rms easy

1700 on an 8 daily isn't going to happen, step up to a 10 and you could use all the power. You might be able to get the 1200 @ 2ohms on an SA-8v.2 or a Custom.

    1700 before rise.

Don't even know what this amp clamps at, Whatcha know at HiFi Brutus?
    Maybe seeing 1400.

No such 3' inch coils? in dem 8s?
    Custom maybe?

Or like Crosssaid, I could just run 2ohm and 1200. That's a bit more realistic :P

You laugh, but I'd be willing to bet they can make it all happen. I've seen the bold in pictures they have.

    Re: Suggest a 8"

A dd 2508 will be your best option if your trying to throw 1700 rms at it. The brz can't produce that much rms tho prolly closer to 1200-1300 rms if that clean

No way I would get a girl with an azz that nice and not show her off. Inverted FTW.

The idea is to save trunk room.

Because you see, my snowboards don't tend to fit into a trunk that has a 4 cube box in it with a amp rack, 2 extra 100AH batts, that is also a sealed off trunk.

    Nothing fits.

I suppose if two of the amps went away, the box was a portion of the size of before, and the batts went away.. i'd have room to show off that AZZ.

My point stands. Don't hide that azz! I'm sure you could make it work, an 8" box is much less than 4 cubes, inverted or not. 8's tend to be shallow anyway. I mean obviously do what suits you best in the application, I'm just saying I'd show it off

But.. if it's hidden.. I can place bets with the local Kicker Fanboys and have a DBdrag right in the parking lots for $100... I mean, it's just a 8, clearly not as good as that 12" CVR in that prefab... I mean... it's little
