you need atleast 6 inches of space between your port and trunk for air flow right?

the loudest trunks are foward firing sealed off.

i liked your first post but this is mis-information. 2 loudest trunks i know of do not fire forward sealed off at the baffle. its very frequency and vehicle dependent and mic positioning comes into play.

Since you are all knowing about loud trunks, perhaps you can show us pictures of your award winning builds and your display case full of trophies.

Lol so hold on. Not saying I do or don't... but your logic is that I can't point out that splaudio has 0 credentials to prove his trunk expertise but yet even though I made no trunk claims somehow I have to have some and he doesn't? Wow you're a genius.

    Re: 150db trunk setup

It's all in the box. Best to mess around and find the best box orientation. Subs and port facing the cabin sealed off should be best.

I only hit 149.xx with 2 15"s and 7k. Wasn't the best idea to have the subs facing up and port towards the cabin. It was the only way I could have had the port though with that big of a box in my trunk.

It's not always the best idea to shove as much sub and power into your trunk as you can.
