So I am getting the single 10" down fire box.
.65 sealed. 5.75 mounting depth.
I am thinking about these subs:
Kenwood-KFC-XW10
this excelon has a min and max volume of .65 so sounds like its mad to fit this box perfectly.

This amp: Rockford-Fosgate-R500-1D
I figure someone on this board has the single 10 downfire so what are you running?

A better subwoofer, and you will also get the potential out of your amplifier:) This will out perform that kenwood sub ,Id even run Kicker before Kenwood
This would be another Fantastic subwoofer to run as well

Most likely the Sundown SD-2 but have I no experience with Dayton Audio. You'll definitely want to take the Rockford amp over the Kenwood as well.
I am not sure how that RF prime amp does it but it's a mono block with 2 sets of outputs. I looked at the owners manual and it shows running 2 subs wired at 4 ohm and a solo sub running at 2 ohm.
if I was to get the rf prime 500 should I get the SD 2 10D4 Sundown Audio Slim Mount 10" Dual 2 Ohm instead?
what would be the difference between the sundown 2 & 4 ohm sub?
