    Best 12" for ported 300W in $100-$200

I want a good single 12" sq/spl sub to go in a ported box for the trunk of a 98 civic 2 dr. Right now i only have 300w to give to it.

    I was considering

    ED k or e series
    infinity Perfect 12.1
    RE se12

    Thanks for all the help.

    Darrell

Great options. THe Se looks like a more impressive sub.

PG TI 12 would work great with 300wrms.

The PG or the eD K, The Se will be too underpowered for that setup imo

stick with eD rather than Kicker or MTX b/c they have sooooo much better Sound Quality.

You have to remember though, its all about the install. You could take the Kickers and in good hands make them just as good as anything else. You cant honestly say that the CompVR is not a awesome sub for the money.

You are right, but you have to remember that it will be a lot easier to make a K sound good than it will be to make a higher Q woofer (VR) sound good.

It's all in the install, but there is are product exceptions (maybe 10%) of total install.

I dont know. Maybe your right. I just know from first hand experience what a killer sub the CompVR is for the price. I was just simply throwing another option out.
