Hertz SPL 15

Hey guys wondering if anyone has any experience with the Hertz SPL series, mainly the 15. Its rated 1000w rms and is a d2. I got a awesome deal on a used one in really nice condition. The model is the HXS 380d. Mainly im wondering on box specs. Im assuming they probably want a decent size ported box, just hoping someone here has had one or knows about them.

Also how are they on the power handling? They dont look overly beefy, but i know hertz makes a decent product if nothing else. I will be running it with an audison srx 1d... rated 1150 @ 1 so it should give it a decent amount.

LOL...i reckon it does seem that way...lol..but nah, they look good on paper and I do not know any more about them than you can find on their website.

I've seen 2 of these 15" in a golf gti running on a 2500w rms amp, cant remember which one. Man they got low as hell. rattled everything and i dont think the box was even big enough for them. still sounded good. imo hertz is a very good speaker company. whenever i was stationed in alabama they were selling them for like 300 a piece or something like that.

Thanks, ya i figured itd be decent, especially for getting it for $75 in nice condtion. Local shop i go to sells Hertz and he said they retailed $499.99 when he had it. well see how it goes i figured at the price i couldnt lose.
