another vs thread on oa vs sundown vs skar

Just choose one....................except the Skar.

To the ear you probably wouldn't notice any difference

I'd go with the Skars/OA if you're tuning low, the SA if you're tuning higher

Whichever one you'll pick should perform well.

Yea I think oa is really going to be my route I like how most are saying its really good on music and puts up good numbers as well

Why those why not cvx or type r or even Rockford p3?

I always thought kicker and alpine was top stuff? How do I tag catman?

I've owned all 3...but the skars and sundowns were 8" and the OA was a 15". :D either way, you can't go wrong with the Obsidian for a "ground pounder" set up. Might not be the loudest, but can be nasty and sound great doing it and also dig plenty low in the right set up.

Well another think I am taking into affect is the resale value what one people are buying used I won't have the setup for too long I've talked to obsidian all ready and they didn't want to work with me much lol I mean not much lower u can get then $160 brand new for a 15 emailed Jacob today for some pricing on sa's and Kevin at skar is really helpful and has all ways been a cool dude with me and hooked me up I see it as who ever can help me out on staying in my budget I do have to buy 8 woofers still which is kind of a lot and I may highly consider skar again will see ahh I hate decision making but hope Jacob comes through I would love to go with the brand that is behind it all lol :)

what kind of enclosure are you doing? Have 2 guys on my team running multiple OA subs in 4th orders, both play down to mid/low 20's with authority and still hit upper 40's very well. Solid subs for the money...
