should i trade???

I have a guy willing to trade me 2 alpine type x 12's in a custom ported box for my 15" audioque hdc3 d2 in a custom ported box. Should I trade or just keep my 15?

If you plan to resale then it wouldn't be a bad option.

What is the reason you are looking to trade/sell the HDC? That answer would dictate the answer to the question more then value in my eyes.

well i was just looking for something that would be loud but fit in my trunk. I have my hdc3 in the eback seat of my car cuz the box doesnt fit in my trunk, too tall. *pro-rabbit i have emailed you on ur web site about a new box.

I would. The X's are worth more and will sound way better. You may lose some output in the higher hertz range though

im not too concerned with the worth of the subs, iust the life span, durability, and sql......im only running an AQ 1200D at the moment

I will check my email and see what is up with the enclosure and application. If it looks like the dims won't work for the 15 we can see what we can do about the 12" X's. They are nice subs for sure and do sound great. The HDC is a great sub though, and if we can make it work, then I don't see much if any gain by swapping subs.
