I was thinking of breakin my subs in before the port arrives, just low volume to get the motor moving for a week before I put the port in, would shared chambered sealed be okay with the subs or would it **** em up bad.

Why would it? What subs and whats your box specs?
American bass xd 8's in a 1.85ish ft3 box, getting a 3'' port next week.
im not even gonna turn it up at all, maybe a hair lol just need it to run to get loose so when the port gets here it'll be ready to use.
Break in isn't really required...but as long as you don't crank it too high, you should be ok to run them for a few days in the sealed box. Also I would suggest at least a 4" port for 2 8s.. a 3" is tiny!
i already ordered the 3''port tho lol, the specs asked for 3 so im getting 3, 3 inch hole with 16 inches inside the box, Im not looking for spl, it is going inside a single cab truck. I'll post the build later I'm still finishing up the box as we speak
If its not turned up, its not gonna move. It's not gonna "break in" with regular use it will wear in on its own.
